Bowen Gets the Show on the Road

Newspapers often get quite a lot of facts wrong even though they say the basic training of all journalists involves getting them right. The cutting below tells how Prestoungrange garnered a knighthood in Queensland when he visited in April 2003 to discuss the finer points of the Bowen Regional Seminar scheduled for 2005.

However the story is right in proclaiming that the Conference in 2005 is clearly set to sail and all the local institutions are being called to the colours by the Mayor and other dignitaries.
